I am a veterinarian and postdoctoral quantitative disease ecologist with USGS. I focus on wildlife disease ecology, using my veterinary training to inform my research on factors that drive pathogen transmission and disease severity. I have a strong interest in using individual immunological and physiological traits to predict disease outcomes at population up to global scales. In my work I use a combination of theoretical and data-driven modeling  alongside field studies, and my research is influenced by One Health, the concept that human, animal, and environmental health are inextricably intertwined.
